Frantic knitting!

"Sometimes, when I have a lot on my mind, it helps to just go AAAAAAAHHHHHH!"
...
AAAAAAHHHHHHH!

By the way, that's a line that a character from one of my favorite video games says. Yes, I'm a dork.

It's now 14 days before I must get this arm warmer shipped out and I have to say, I think I might make it. Think. Probably. But I'm having a rough time deciding where to send MOFriend's birthday box because after lengthy discussion with her father, she's decided that she wants to move back to LA. So. Missourri? California? I don't know. I think she'll finish out the college semester in MO. I hope she does, anyway. After the arm warmers are all wrapped and packaged nice, I need to hit Wawa up for some Tastykakes and Entenmanns products because they're nowhere to be seen in her town and that is a TRAVESTY.

Then, after all that craziness is done, I'll finally be able to finish my socks. Finally. That poor little tube looks so lonely in its bag, sitting on top of my yarn box next to the October sock yarn. I think it's jealous.

I know its a short post today, but I'm really not feeling well (thanks, mom, I really needed the bubonic-avian-flu-ebola-plague-virus from hell) and my head hurts. So I think I'll go take a warm bath and then a nap. Since, you know, I called out of work sick. Hooray for illness.

These are the days of miracle and wonder
This is the long-distance call
The way the camera follows us in slow-mo
The way we look to us all
The way we look to a distant constellation
That is dying in a corner of the sky
These are the days of miracle and wonder
~Paul Simon, "The Boy in the Bubble"
