I don't read enough.

It has been quite a long time since I've posted, and there's no real excuse. The reason is because I've been quite lazy lately, aside from picking up a second job.

Yes, I'm working two jobs again. I'm back at Borders/Day By Day Calendars for the season, hopefully longer. I want to eventually get out of Pizza Hut, but I'm going to keep it at least until I know if Borders is keeping me after Christmas or not. It's an important thing, having a job.

A while back, on my mom's blog, she mentioned the Big Read project from the National Endowment for the Arts. The average number of books someone has read? Six. I bolded the ones I've read, and italicized ones I've started but never finished.

That's about thirty out of one hundred. Not too shabby, though I intend to read a great deal more of the books populating the list. Not because they're on the list, but because I've intended to read them for a while and just never have.

On the knitting front, I'm doing my own wildflower shawl, and it's such a simple pattern. I'll post pictures next time.
